Remote Access

Last updated 2 months ago

You can access the EZR35-5G router remotely in several ways once it is connected to the internet. The most convenient method is through the integrated Traversal Cloud; alternatively, you can set up a VPN tunnel or DDNS for remote access.

Traversal Cloud

Traversal Cloud is a dedicated NAT tunneling tool that enables secure remote access without requiring a public IP address. It lets you access the router's web interface from anywhere, anytime, as long as you have an internet connection. It’s completely free!

Cloud Address

To respect the privacy preferences, the Traversal Cloud is disabled by default. Please follow the steps below to enable it.

  1. Log in to the router and go to "Services > Traversal Cloud."

  2. Click the " Enable " checkbox and "Save & Apply."

There is no guarantee of this free service. Some cellular carriers might block the port number used by this cloud connection.

Debug

Please review the factors listed below if you cannot access the cloud address. If the issue remains unresolved, please copy the system log and send it to our support team for assistance.

  1. Ensure the traversal cloud has been enabled. After enabling the checkbox, please click the "Save & Apply" button.

  2. If you once turned off the traversal cloud function within a power cycle, please reboot the router to refresh the traversal connection session.

Dynamic DNS

When a 5G router is assigned a public IP address via Mobile, WAN, or WiFi relay internet sources, Dynamic DNS enables easy remote access to the router.

Next, using a web browser, access your router's web interface at the provided cloud address. It is highly recommended to set a strong before enabling cloud access.

Before accessing the traversal cloud server, the router must have an Internet connection. Check the on the router.

Dynamic DNS links a static hostname to the router's public IP address, updating it automatically when the IP address changes. For more details, see the tutorial.
