# Improve Weak Signal

## i. Upgrade Antenna

When you have a weak signal reception, please refer to [Improve Weak Signal ](/ezr33/installation/signal-tests/improve-weak-signal.md)and adjust the direction of the flat sides on the default Omni antenna to get a little better signal reception. 

If the signal is poor, consider upgrading the 4G mobile antenna with a higher-gain antenna. The directional LPDA antenna and MIMO panel antenna can point toward the cell tower and receive stronger 4G signals.

## ii. Distance to PoE

A 30-foot LAN cable is included in the package. You can use a maximum 320-feet LAN cable between the PoE adapter and the outdoor router.&#x20;

If you require a longer distance and reduce the signal attenuation, you can use the PoE extender to get an extra 320-feet distance.
